Imaging Services Assistant

• Department: Imaging
• Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

• Guide and reassure patients by explaining upcoming imaging procedures clearly and providing educational materials to ease anxiety and build trust.
• Transport patients safely between clinical units and verify identity protocols to ensure secure handoffs and prompt exam starts.
• Assist imaging technologists with patient positioning, room readiness, and basic documentation in electronic records to streamline clinical workflow.
• Uphold radiation safety standards and infection control practices across all procedure suites to protect patients and fellow staff.
• Manage post-procedure clean-up, turnover, and supply restocking to keep imaging suites fully prepared and equipped for continuous patient care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 1 years of cumulative job specific experience required.
