Business Analyst (SC Cleared) 6 Month Initial Contract Hybrid / London
VIQU are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Business Analyst to support a major technology and business transformation programme within a leading financial institution.
Working across complex change initiatives, the successful Business Analyst will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, analyse processes, manage product backlogs, and support the delivery of strategic technology solutions.
Role Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, document and manage complex business and solution requirements across large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, validate solutions and build consensus.
- Produce key analysis artefacts including process maps, user stories, data models, acceptance criteria and business cases.
- Conduct current and future state analysis, impact assessments and business process improvement activities.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Development and Testing teams to define, prioritise and manage product backlogs.
- Support the successful delivery of technology and business change initiatives through effective stakeholder engagement and requirements traceability.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Banking, or Financial Services environments, with solid experience delivering change initiatives.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, process modelling, business analysis methodologies and stakeholder management.
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Financial Crime, ERP, Data Business Analysis, Risk & Collateral Management, Financial Markets & Post-Trade Operations, or CRM.
- Experience working across Agile, Product-led and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed analysis artefacts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
