Software Engineer [$224k/yr+] with Security Clearance

A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required to start, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with current Secret or TS level clearance. Summary: • Develop and integrate custom software components and open-source solutions for cloud platforms. • Design and implement robust core software architecture. • Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure environments. • Implement and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Work with and manage Big Data systems. • Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. • Focus on strong systems integration capabilities across various technologies. Qualifications && Compensation: - Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Years of experience: 5+ years - Salary: $224k+ yearly compensation Job Description: • Design, develop, and integrate custom software and open-source code for cloud platforms. • Architect and implement core software systems, ensuring scalability and performance. • Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure, including provisioning and configuration. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab and Jenkins. • Engage with and manage Big Data systems, specifically Hadoop. • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative development and project management. • Utilize DevOps practices for automation, monitoring, and infrastructure as code. • Perform systems integration across diverse platforms and technologies. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, demonstrating strong communications skills. • Leverage expertise in AWS for cloud-based development and operations. • Develop software using Python, Go, and Bash scripting. • Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems. • Orchestrate and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes. • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible and Puppet. • Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence. • Manage software build processes with Maven. • Work with virtualized environments using VMWare.
