Senior Consultant - SAP-SAP ABAP OOPS

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant for its S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end ABAP OOPS development, enhancements, interface creation, debugging, and production support for S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and lead technical initiatives that ensure high‑quality, scalable solutions for our clients.

• Design, develop, and optimize ABAP OOPS objects for S/4HANA modules.
• Implement enhancements, BADI, user‑exits, and custom reports.
• Build and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and OData services.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews.
• Provide 24/7 production support and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead code migration and upgrade activities to S/4HANA.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and release notes.

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 3 years in OOPS.
• Strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP stack and related technologies.
• Proficiency in ABAP enhancements, BADI, user‑exits, and ALV reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and OData services.
• Solid debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Experience in production support and incident management.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Gateway, and SAP Fiori basics.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
