Head of Fresh Food Counter | Eisenach, Germany | On-site | €15.42 - €19.24 per hour

The Role

• Lead and manage the fresh food counter, encompassing meat, sausage, cheese, bakery, and delicatessen departments.
• Implement national sales concepts and manage all operational aspects, including cost and revenue development, inventory, and stock rotation.
• Develop and execute initiatives to delight customers and drive sales for fresh food products.
• Provide competent leadership, training, and mentorship to your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure accurate pricing, assortment maintenance, and adherence to the highest hygiene standards.
• Skillfully prepare and enhance products within the fresh food categories.

What You'll Need

• Vocational training as a butcher or a comparable qualification, with experience in the food retail sector, or strong experience as a Head Chef. A Master Craftsman qualification is a plus.
• In-depth product knowledge and several years of professional experience in the meat, delicatessen, or gastronomic sectors.
• Proven leadership skills with a solution-oriented and results-driven work approach.
• Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
• Team player with a high sense of responsibility and flexibility to work Monday to Saturday between 05:00 and 22:00.
