Job Description
COLSA is seeking an Information Security Analyst (Advanced) to support cybersecurity for naval aviation and platform IT systems. This position will also serve as a functional team lead, providing technical leadership and coordinating the work of team members. This position is located on-site at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award. The selected candidate will be proposed as Key Personnel in accordance with proposal requirements. Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
- Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
- Perform cyber forensic analysis in response to cyber threats in hardware and software environments.
- Serve as the functional team lead, including coordinating and overseeing the tasking of other team members, tracking project progress, and participating in the planning of projects, resourcing, and events. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Information Assurance (IA) or Cyber Security experience is required.
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience is required.
- Must obtain qualifications aligned with one or more of the following DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) work roles within 30 days of contract start: 111, 211, 212, 221, 461, 511, 531, 541, 550, 612, or 622. - Must possess a current Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Preferred Qualifications
