Medical Technologist (m/f/d) for Radiation Therapy | Heide, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to join a leading healthcare provider renowned for its commitment to medical quality and innovation. This role is based in an advanced radiation therapy department, offering a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning and improving patient care through sophisticated diagnostics and technology.

The Role

• Independently operate linear accelerators (LINAC) to ensure the smooth execution of radiation treatments.
• Perform 4D simulations and utilize image-guided techniques for optimal treatment planning.
• Provide professional and empathetic support to patients throughout their therapy.
• Contribute to a team committed to achieving high medical standards in radiation therapy.

What You'll Need

• Completed, state-recognized training as a Medical-Technical Radiology Assistant (MTR/MTRA) or equivalent qualification, including current radiation protection expertise.
• Ideally, some practical experience in radiation therapy.
• Empathy, friendliness, and respect when interacting with patients, maintaining composure in challenging situations.
• Strong self-management skills with a methodical and conscientious approach to work, both independently and within a team.
• Clear, appreciative communication and a high level of service orientation.
