Senior Customs Compliance Specialist

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Customs Senior Administrator to manage import/export compliance for our U.S. manufacturing operations. You will oversee customs documentation, HTS classification, valuation, and origin determination for vehicles, parts, and equipment; coordinate with brokers, logistics, and plant teams; and monitor adherence to U.S. Customs, trade programs, and free trade agreements. You'll analyze shipment data, resolve clearance issues, support audits, improve processes, and contribute to Honda's innovation, safety, and sustainability goals in a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import/export customs documentation and filings
• Perform accurate HTS classification, valuation, and origin determination
• Ensure compliance with U.
• S. Customs, trade regulations, and FTAs
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and finance teams on trade matters
• Monitor and resolve customs clearance issues and delays
• Support internal and external customs and trade compliance audits
• Maintain and improve trade compliance procedures and controls
• Analyze shipment and duty data to identify savings and risk areas
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and compliance
