The Role

• Operate heavy machinery to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Utilize equipment such as top loaders, side loaders, and cranes for container stacking and organization.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment or machinery is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing.
• Willingness to work a night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
