  • Diagnose customer needs and propose chemical solutions that strengthen manufacturing processes, product performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and site visits to technical presentations, proposals, closing, and ongoing support.
  • Visit customers regularly to assess product performance, resolve issues, and uncover additional opportunities.
  • Partner with internal technical and customer service teams to secure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Track market trends, competitor moves, and new opportunities in the territory.

  • Must live in Michigan
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred

  • Experience with both metalworking fluids and metal pretreatment or metal finishing chemicals
  • Prior full-cycle technical sales experience spanning prospecting, closing, account management, and technical service
  • Current or past work with a manufacturer or distributor of metalworking fluids, metal pretreatment chemicals, or competing industrial chemical products
