Job Description
Our client, a growing multi-office firm, is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Marketing Manager to serve as the internal execution engine behind the firm's growth, brand equity, and visibility. Reporting directly to a senior executive and working closely with the executive leadership team, you will be the primary day-to-day project manager and "doer," translating marketing strategy into consistent, on-brand action across the firm and its business units.
You will work hand-in-hand with an external agency partner, and shoulder-to-shoulder with the internal team, to execute a comprehensive program spanning outbound marketing, public relations, thought leadership, content creation and distribution, webinars, and event management. The ideal candidate is a proactive project manager and content coordinator who thrives on keeping many moving parts organized and driving projects across the finish line.
This role is in-person at one of the firm's offices in the
Mississippi/Alabama region, working side by side with leadership and the local team in a collaborative, high-energy environment. You will serve as the central marketing engine for the firm while maintaining a direct connection to external agency partners. The firm's internal marketing execution engine: strategy turned into consistent, on-brand, on-time output that builds firmwide brand awareness and equity.
Marketing Collateral & Brand Asset Management
Collateral Ownership: Own the updates and maintenance of all firm collateral, ensuring data, team information, and required disclaimer language stay current. Serve as the internal traffic manager when specialized design or heavy content production is required, collaborating with external partners to produce high-end assets (white papers, infographics, event signage, website).
Brand Guardian: Ensure all new materials, client-facing decks, and promotional assets align with the firm's established brand identity and visual standards.
Digital Asset Library: Build, organize, and maintain a centralized digital asset library (SharePoint, Drive, or a DAM platform) so the team and leadership can access the latest approved logos, photography, templates, and collateral.
New-Hire Branding: Coordinate branding for new team members, including email signatures, business cards, and bio/headshot files, and keep materials stocked across offices.
Announcements Pipeline: Maintain the internal pipeline for company announcements, milestones, and thought-leadership releases.
Outbound Marketing, Content & Distribution
Editorial Calendar: Create and manage a monthly editorial calendar, ensuring timely creation of blogs, long-form LinkedIn posts, thought-leadership pieces, industry updates, and promotional assets.
Interview internal subject matter experts and executives to gather insights and source content.
Distribution & Promotion: Own outbound distribution and digital promotion of all published content and white papers to clients and prospects across LinkedIn and other social media, email newsletters, and the website.
Website Updates: Regularly update the corporate website with approved content, keeping live copy, landing pages, and materials consistent with the brand identity and leadership's messaging.
Webinars & Virtual Events: Plan, promote, and host webinars and virtual thought-leadership sessions, coordinating speakers, registration, and post-event follow-up.
Manage the corporate speaking, awards, and industry event calendars.
Coordinate logistics for the firm's participation in high-value industry events, including hosted dinners, sponsorships, and private client events.
CRM Pipeline: Help maintain the sales opportunity pipeline with accurate stages and key data points, and support forecast dashboards leadership can rely on.
Meeting & Travel Kits: Ensure leaders are equipped with the right marketing materials before client travel and sales meetings.
Coordinate the creation and delivery of onboarding materials for new clients.
Performance Tracking: Track monthly and quarterly marketing metrics across PR (share of voice, mentions), content (reads, clicks), and events (leads generated, attendance). Compile and share marketing wins and performance reports with leadership.
Support management of the annual marketing budget.
4–6 years of corporate marketing or agency experience, ideally in a B2B or client-service environment
~ A proven track record of executing tactical marketing plans rather than just designing high-level strategy; you love checklists, deadlines, and seeing projects through to completion
~ Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects across internal stakeholders and an external agency
~ Strong copyediting skills and experience managing digital content channels (social media, email marketing platforms, CMS)
~ Proven ability to navigate a multi-stakeholder environment and drive projects forward
~ Ability to balance immediate tactical tasks with longer-term projects and keep deliverables on track
~ Advanced Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
Experience with Microsoft Customer Insights (or a comparable CRM) and email marketing platforms
Experience producing content that goes through legal or compliance review
Familiarity with a DAM platform and marketing analytics tools
