Job description
About the Role
Join the R&D team at a Series A robotics startup building software for AI-driven robots operating in real production environments. You will work across the robotics stack, helping turn software into reliable performance in customer facilities.
What You'll Do
Coordinate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization systems, and machine-learning pipelines across multiple platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling interfaces, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to solve high-priority technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design, build, and ship systems for capable, flexible robots.
Deploy software in customer facilities and improve its performance in real-world environments.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems, such as arms, manipulation systems, or autonomous hardware, in production or customer environments.
Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python; experience with C/C++, TypeScript, or React is useful.
Hands-on experience with production robotics systems and hardware/software integration; familiarity with ROS, motion planning, or robot optimization is a plus.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and systemd is beneficial.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Experience in a fast-moving startup or other high-ownership environment, and the ability to adapt as priorities change.
