The Role • Independently create work plans for complex components and assemblies from various materials using ENGIN and SAP planning systems, considering economic factors. • Develop and modify work plans for individual parts up to entire systems within the ENGIN CAP system and SAP ERP system. • Prepare precise manufacturing instructions for production. • Continuously analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify optimization potential, and actively contribute to reducing lead times and eliminating waste. • Ensure close collaboration with all involved departments and facilitate information flow in all work preparation projects. • Participate in the Make-or-Buy classification of components, leveraging technical expertise. • Support knowledge transfer to subcontractors. • Reliably ensure high product quality while adhering to deadlines and cost frameworks. What You'll Need • Completed technical vocational training plus further education as a mechanical engineering technician or industrial foreman (metal), or an equivalent higher qualification. • Experience with work preparation processes and workflows. • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP R/3. • Several years of professional experience in the metal industry with a good understanding of relevant processes. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. • Strong MS Office skills for daily work. • Good written and spoken English skills.
