Hardware Installation Technician with Security Clearance

Hardware Installation Technician – Level I Chantilly, VA Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Perform installation, and support of new Windows based computer systems. • Install Image and software on laptops and workstation • Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities • Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals.

Coordinates with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs. • Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content. • Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer's processes. • Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: • 2 years of experience in Information Technology. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making • Experience in Customer Service • Requires skill with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Other Requirements: • Must have active interim Secret clearance or above • Must be able to travel to DC to deploy equipment Physical Requirements: • Must be able to type
