Microsoft GTM Solution Architect (Senior Manager)

Position Overview

\n\n

Our client, an established technology consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Microsoft Solution Architect to help enterprise customers translate business challenges into practical, scalable technology solutions.

\n

This position combines hands-on Microsoft architecture experience with client consulting, technical presales, and business development. The ideal candidate has a strong background designing and implementing Microsoft solutions and enjoys working directly with customers to develop technical strategies, demonstrate capabilities, and support new business opportunities.

\n\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead client discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution architecture discussions.
\n
• Design and propose enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and AI technologies.
\n
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures, project scopes, estimates, and implementation plans.
\n
• Develop and present technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and proposed solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
\n
• Partner with sales and business development teams to support client opportunities, proposals, and RFP responses.
\n
• Collaborate with Microsoft partner teams and technical stakeholders on customer solutions and opportunities.
\n
• Apply Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, GitHub Copilot, and other AI technologies to practical business use cases.
\n
• Address security, identity, governance, integration, and scalability considerations in solution designs.
\n
• Maintain involvement in implementation and delivery to ensure proposed solutions are technically achievable.
\n
• Contribute to reusable solution frameworks, technical best practices, and mentoring junior team members.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, cloud technologies, technical consulting, or related disciplines.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions.
\n
• Experience with cloud modernization, enterprise infrastructure, data platforms, or Microsoft Fabric.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, develop solutions, and communicate technical recommendations.
\n
• Experience supporting technical presales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposals, estimates, and statements of work.
\n
• Understanding of Microsoft AI technologies, including Copilot and Azure AI Foundry, and their potential enterprise applications.
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
\n
• Experience collaborating with sales teams, technology partners, or Microsoft representatives.
\n
• Strong problem-solving, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Ability to travel as needed for client and business engagements.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Previous experience with a technology consulting firm, systems integrator, or Microsoft partner organization.
\n
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
\n
• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation or cloud modernization initiatives.
\n
• Experience developing proofs of concept and taking proposed solutions into production.
\n
• Industry experience in healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, or technology.
