Job Description

This is an onsite position for a Research Associate II in Assay Development, requiring 4–6 years of post-college experience, with an hourly compensation rate of *** and a maximum client bill rate of ***

THE OPPORTUNITY
Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation to support Ventana projects.
Design, execute, and interpret experiments and apply technical expertise toward project strategies.
Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses and present results to the team, while maintaining complete, accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with company policies (e.g., GMP, GLP, Design Control).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision, including making observations and analyzing data.
Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses; maintain complete and accurate records.
Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.
Work collaboratively in a team environment by providing creative solutions and input to project planning.
Contribute to process improvement suggestions and assist in identifying patentable inventions.
Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and continuous adherence to the Quality First Time principle.
Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for complex problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
Experience: 4–6 years of relevant post-college job experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in a range of specialized wet laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, using a balance and stir plate, etc.); capable of searching scientific literature; skilled with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Soft Skills: Good communication and presentation skills, meticulous attention to detail, coachable, collaborative, and a proven ability and desire to learn.
PREFERRED
Experience with SAFe/Agile planning processes and reporting frameworks
