Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop and support data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics to migrate legacy SAP and analytics datasets into Azure data platforms.
2. Implement data models, transformations, metadata, lineage, and business rules while ensuring data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and reconciliation.
3. Structure and optimize data within Synapse to meet performance, scalability, retention, and query requirements for defined business use cases.
4. Maintain security and compliance controls, troubleshoot data quality issues, document datasets, and communicate risks and issues through established governance processes.
   
   Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	3–5 years of experience in data engineering or related development roles with hands-on Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL, data modeling, and data quality experience.
Technical Skills	Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL, Data Modeling, ETL Development, Data Quality & Validation, SAP/BW Data, Python
Business / Domain Skills	Data Migration, Enterprise Data Engineering, SAP Data Integration, Analytics Data Platforms, Supply Chain & Operations Data, Data Governance & Security
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

One-time in-person appearance at a Deloitte office location prior to client onboarding

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with SAP BW concepts including InfoCubes, DSOs, CompositeProviders, Open Hub, ODP, and BW Queries.
2. Experience with SAP Data Services, Theobald Xtract, SDI, or other third-party SAP data connectors.
3. Experience with Python/ML, SAP supply chain and operations data, and working with both source and target platforms.
