Job Description

Position Overview

A database-focused engineer to resolve cross-platform data-matching failures, cleanse legacy data, and act as the data-integrity gatekeeper across NetSuite, Archdesk, and Paycor - plus recommend and stand up an iPaaS layer for long-term governance.

What you'll own

  • Database ID override resolution - fix the architectural conflict blocking external Employee IDs (from Paycor) and Job IDs (from Archdesk or similar external project systems) from being accepted into NetSuite.
  • Legacy QuickBooks cleansing & mapping - dedupe and migrate 2 years of customer/vendor master data into a clean NetSuite master database.
  • Cross-system employee ID reconciliation 
  • Database-to-process swim lane mapping with the IT Director.
  • Custom field/metadata audit structures for client billing portal parameters.
  • iPaaS recommendation and implementation for ongoing API connectivity and data governance.

Deliverables

  1. Reconciled, locked cross-system Employee ID and Job ID matching database.
  2. CFO-approved, cleansed customer/vendor CSV import templates for NetSuite sandbox loading.
  3. A full database-to-operational-process workflow spec sheet for API programmers.

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years in data migration/integration engineering, ideally with at least one ERP (NetSuite strongly preferred; SAP/Dynamics/Workday acceptable if paired with strong SQL and API integration depth).
  • Hands-on ETL and data-cleansing experience at the scale of full customer/vendor master migrations.
  • SQL fluency and comfort auditing/repairing ID-matching logic across disparate systems.
  • Experience with at least one iPaaS platform (Celigo, Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft) - implementation, not just usage.
  • Payroll/HRIS data reconciliation experience (Paycor a plus) and construction/field-services data patterns a plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience specifically resolving NetSuite internal-ID-vs-external-ID conflicts (this is a known, named pain point in NetSuite implementations with multiple source systems - candidates who've hit this before will ramp fastest).
  • Direct Archdesk or Paycor data-reconciliation experience.
  • CFO/finance-facing communication experience (this person will present cleansed data for CFO sign-off).
