Job Description

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team in STATEN ISLAND, NY 10301. As a HHA, you will assist with on-to-one, companion care, and clinic visits. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

Per Diem Openings: 7AM-3PM or 8AM-4PM (Day)

The hourly rate is $20/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $30/hr.

Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and assistance with mobility.
  • Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
  • Adhere to care plans and protocols as required to ensure quality care is delivered.
  • Maintain documentation of client care and progress according to agency standards.
  • Comply with safety and infection control procedures while providing care.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program is preferred.
  • HHA certification is a plus
  • Previous experience in home healthcare or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
  • Ability to work independently and with a flexible schedule.
  • Basic knowledge of personal care procedures and safety standards.
