Join as a Facilities Engineer and be a vital part of shaping the future of air traffic management. Based in Minneapolis, MN, you'll play a key role in maintaining and managing critical infrastructure, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our national airspace.
What You'll Do:
- Infrastructure Oversight: Monitor, maintain, and optimize facilities including generators, HVAC systems, cabling, and security to ensure maximum operational uptime.
- Security & Compliance: Escort technical personnel to safeguard restricted areas, ensuring adherence to security protocols at all times.
- System Installation & Maintenance: Lead the setup, testing, and upkeep of telecommunications equipment such as switches, routers, and fiber-optic cabling.
- Power Systems Management: Oversee and troubleshoot essential DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups supporting mission-critical operations.

Qualifications:
- This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.
- 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering or management; an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, cabling standards, and building infrastructure.
- Experience reviewing technical designs and contractor work for compliance with safety and standards.
- Familiarity with physical security protocols and regulatory safety frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with FAA systems, NAS environments, or air traffic control facilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or certifications in facilities/building management.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices, LEED standards, or energy-efficient systems.
- Project management skills and familiarity with related tools and methodologies.
Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $54.00 hourly
