Core Platform Application Developer (PHP)

Extends and maintains the EcoMed360 core application — a GPL-compliant, custom-branded EHR platform — including clinical workflows, the patient portal, and administrative modules.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain PHP 8.x modules within the EcoMed360 codebase, preserving GPL compliance across customizations.

Implement clinical workflow, patient-summary, and portal enhancements (Twig templating, SCSS styling) aligned with branding and usability requirements.

Build data export/import hooks that feed the interoperability layer without disrupting native platform clinical functions.

Participate in code review, regression testing, and version-upgrade planning as the core codebase evolves.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of PHP development experience; direct open-source EHR platform development experience strongly preferred.

Familiarity with Twig, SCSS, and JavaScript front-end patterns.

Understanding of clinical data models (problem lists, encounters, medications, labs) as implemented in the core platform.
