Job Description

At Salvo Software, we’re shaping the future of automotive technology with cutting-edge diagnostic and cloud solutions that connect directly to vehicles. Our Field Operations Team gets to work hands-on with trucks, cars, and off-road vehicles, making sure our software and tools are ready for the real world. This is a great role if you love working on vehicles, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a team that’s building the next generation of automotive technology.

We are hiring Scan Tool Field Techs, to join our growing team. No two days are the same — you’ll be testing vehicles, reporting bugs, and working alongside engineers to improve our products. If you’re passionate about cars or trucks and want to turn that passion into a career, this could be the perfect fit.

  • Use scan tools to test and validate new automotive software in real vehicles.
  • Report issues and share clear feedback with our engineering team.
  • Help reproduce and troubleshoot problems discovered during testing.
  • Follow test steps and safety procedures when working around vehicles.
  • A strong interest in cars, trucks, or off-road vehicles (professional or hobbyist).
  • Comfortable using diagnostic tools or learning how to use them.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to follow step-by-step processes.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and hands-on with vehicles.
