Job Description:

Summary

An Avalara Consultant with Oracle Fusion specializes in integrating Avalara AvaTax compliance engines with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Financials, Procurement, and Order Management). Responsibilities include configuring tax parameters, managing API integrations, validating data flows, and ensuring multi-jurisdictional indirect tax accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Tax Configuration: Set up and manage tax regimes, taxes, statuses, rates, party profiles, and the tax determination engine

Avalara Integration & Management: Design, support, and monitor data flows and API/OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) integrations between Oracle Fusion and Avalara AvaTax

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance, tax, and IT teams to translate system behavior and tax risks into clear options for leadership
