IT Category Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Category Manager in Doral, FL.

Summary

The strategic sourcing/procurement position is focused specifically on IT products and services. The Category Manager will own sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, negotiations, cost optimization, and vendor relationships while partnering with IT and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically source a portfolio of IT products and services
• Develop and manage RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs
• Evaluate suppliers and analyze bids for cost, quality, and business value
• Negotiate commercial terms and technology-related contracts
• Develop strategic supplier relationships
• Reduce total cost of ownership and deliver savings targets
• Perform sourcing-related project management
• Establish analytics and reporting for assigned categories
• Partner with senior stakeholders and operating companies
• Monitor market trends and incorporate them into sourcing strategies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years of related experience, or Advanced degree plus 5-10 years of related experience
• Education: IT-related, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related
• Preferred Certification CPM or equivalent

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
