PeopleSoft FSCM  Technical PM / Lead

Role Summary

We are looking for a nearshore (Canada based) Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of the PeopleSoft FSCM PeopleTools and PUM image upgrade, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholders across onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Governance

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with client sponsors.

Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, milestones, and resource plan.

Establish governance, including steering committees, status reporting, and escalation paths.

Manage project budget, forecasts, and change control.

Delivery Management

Lead the upgrade lifecycle: analysis, customization retrofit, build, testing, migration, cutover, and go-live.

Track progress of functional, technical, and testing workstreams and remove roadblocks.

Ensure quality of deliverables including BRDs, FRDs, technical designs, test plans, and runbooks.

Plan and oversee environment strategy, PUM image selection, and migration sequencing.

Stakeholder and Team Management

Act as the primary point of contact for client business owners, IT leadership, and application owners.

Coordinate onshore and offshore teams, ensuring clear priorities and effective communication.

Facilitate decisions with Business Process Owners on scope, adoption of new features, and customization retirement.

Manage third-party and vendor coordination, including Oracle engagement for product issues.

Risk, Quality, and Testing

Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

Oversee test strategy and execution across SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.

Manage defect triage and ensure timely resolution and sign-offs.

Cutover and Closure

Own cutover planning, dress rehearsals, go/no-go decisions, and go-live readiness.

Coordinate hyper-care and handover to the client support team.

Conduct project closure, lessons learned, and final documentation.

Strong understanding of PeopleSoft FSCM modules (GL, AP, Project Costing, Cash Management, Asset Management, eSettlements, eSupplier Connection)

Working knowledge of PeopleTools, PUM, Change Assistant, and upgrade methodology

Strong skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication

Experience managing onshore-offshore delivery models
