Oracle DBA

Job Overview
Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) to design, administer, maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise Oracle database environments. The DBA will be responsible for production database support, performance tuning, backup and recovery, patching, high availability, disaster recovery, database upgrades, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, SQL/PLSQL, Linux/Unix, and database performance tuning. Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12/R12.2 is highly desirable. These are common enterprise DBA responsibilities and align with Oracle's administration guidance and current DBA requirements.

Experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c.
Strong experience with Oracle RAC and ASM.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard / Active Data Guard.
Strong knowledge of RMAN backup, recovery, and database duplication.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge.
Experience with AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL tuning, and performance optimization.
Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
Experience with Shell scripting and DBA automation.
Experience with Data Pump, SQL*Loader, database cloning, and migration.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience supporting 24x7 production environments and critical enterprise applications.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
