The Role

• Provide comprehensive care and support for children and adolescents, including essential medical and personal care.
• Monitor vital signs, meticulously document observations, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with medical examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Support and educate families, serving as a vital resource during their child's treatment.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Manage care for children with chronic conditions and provide support in emergency situations.

What You'll Need

• State-recognized qualification as a pediatric nurse or a registered children's nurse.
• Proven experience in general and specialized pediatric nursing care.
• Proficiency in caring for infants, toddlers, and teenagers, with excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic in critical and emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective family and team interaction.
• Experience in neonatal care and/or pediatric intensive care is a plus.
