Senior Linux Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support mission-critical national security, health, and engineering programs. In this role, you will design, secure, and optimize enterprise Linux environments across on-premises and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and compliance. Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer enterprise Linux server environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructures
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement automation to improve reliability
• Harden Linux systems, apply patches, and enforce security baselines and compliance standards
• Manage user access, storage, backup, and disaster recovery for mission-critical workloads
• Collaborate with security, network, and development teams to support project and customer requirements
• Document architectures, procedures, and configurations; mentor junior administrators
