Job Description

Pediatric Caregiver | Before & After School | Columbia, MO

Help a Child Start and End Each Day with Confidence

Phoenix Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a school-age pediatric client before and after school. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference in a family's daily life.

By helping with morning routines and providing support after school, you'll give this child the consistency they need and provide peace of mind for their family. If you're reliable, patient, and enjoy building positive relationships, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM-8:30 AM
  • 3:30 PM-9:00 PM

Pay

  • $17/hour
  • Weekly pay

What You'll Do

  • Assist with morning and after-school routines
  • Provide direct support and supervision
  • Encourage positive interaction and engagement
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive home environment

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
  • Direct support or caregiving experience preferred
  • Experience working with children with autism is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
