The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney (two openings) to join a law firm's Plantation, Florida office as part of an expansion. The Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney will represent institutional and private lenders in sophisticated commercial real estate financings, working closely with the firm's Real Estate and Commercial Lending & Finance practices. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Plantation, FL; candidates must be local and able to work from the office on a hybrid schedule.

What You'll Do

• Represent lenders in commercial mortgage, construction, bridge, mezzanine, syndicated, and other secured financings.
• Structure, draft, negotiate, and close complex financing transactions.
• Prepare and negotiate loan agreements, mortgages, security agreements, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, and related documents.
• Oversee transaction due diligence, including title, survey, lease, zoning, organizational, and collateral matters.
• Counsel clients on deal structure, risk, collateral, and financing terms.
• Coordinate closings, working directly with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other deal professionals.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to client and business development.

What You Bring

Required

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of The Florida Bar
• 7+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Finance, Secured Lending, or related transactions, primarily in Florida
• Strong Lender-Side Representation experience with sophisticated commercial real estate financings
• Ability to manage matters independently from inception through Closings
• Excellent Legal Drafting, Negotiation, Analytical Skills, and Communication
• Must be local to Plantation, FL and able to work a hybrid in-office schedule
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Salary: $240,000 - $250,000 (based on experience)
• Bonus: bonus opportunity
