About the Role

We're looking for a Senior React Developer to help build an intuitive, data-dense user interface for our SaaS platform, working closely with backend and design teams to turn complex data and workflows into clear, usable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the React application UI: dashboards, detailed data views, and multi-step workflows

• Design components for dense data (tables, charts, drill-downs) that stay clear and performant with large datasets

• Build interactive data visualizations using libraries such as Recharts, Visx, or ECharts

• Work closely with backend engineers to consume APIs, shape data contracts, and handle async/long-running operations

• Implement robust state management for complex, multi-step workflows

• Ensure UI correctness for data display — formatting, rounding, and precision must exactly match backend calculations

• Build responsive, accessible interfaces for a professional user base

• Write unit and integration tests (React Testing Library, Jest/Vitest, Cypress/Playwright) for critical UI flows

• Collaborate on API design and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience with React, including hooks, context, and modern state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query, or similar)

• Strong experience with TypeScript in a production React codebase

• Experience building data-heavy UIs: tables, dashboards, filters, drill-downs, exports

• Experience integrating with REST APIs, including handling pagination, async/long-running jobs, and error states gracefully

• Experience with a charting/visualization library (Recharts, Visx, D3, Chart.js, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail with numeric/data formatting and precision

• Familiarity with testing frameworks for React (RTL, Jest/Vitest) and end-to-end testing tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building UIs for regulated, compliance-sensitive, or high-accuracy domains

• Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Tailwind, MUI, or a custom design system)

• Experience with role-based access control / permissioning in enterprise applications

• Experience collaborating with FastAPI or similar Python backends

• Exposure to exporting data to Excel/PDF from the frontend
