Job Title: Simcorp GAIN Platform Engineer
Work Location: Hybrid (nearby office location)
Long Term Contract
Location : While this role is primarily remote, the client prefers candidates near satellite offices. Candidates may be called into their local office for ID Verification at any time during the project. Candidates must attend an in-person interview and pick up their laptop at one of the client's offices: San Francisco, Arlington, VA, Denver, CO, Chicago, Boston, NYC, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, Minneapolis, MN, Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, MI or Irvine, CA.
Summary :
We need a strong Platform Engineer with Simcorp GAIN studio experience. Client is going through Investment Platform changes, we need someone that can see issues with GAIN workflows and help in quick troubleshooting and fixing of GAIN workflows. This candidate will work with Simcorp professional services as well, but client needs someone with good GAIN experience who can augment their team and help with this.
Must haves:
- Strong experience on Simcorp GAIN Studio platform.
- Strong technical knowledge of C-Sharp, .Net to make change to Simcorp GAIN workflows.
- Sharp troubleshooting skills and acumen to work in accelerated timeframes.
- Security Master attributes domain knowledge.
Good to have: Domain knowledge of asset management.
Specialist Platform : As a Specialist Platform (Technology Specialist - .NET), you will design, develop, and implement .NET-based solutions that drive digital transformation for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that meet business objectives.
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in .NET development, with expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud-based .NET solutions, such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design, with experience in SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to optimize .NET applications for performance and scalability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Set Yourself Apart With :
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in .NET.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React.
- Certifications in .NET development or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).
