Snowflake Data Architect

Position: Snowflake Data Architect

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Contract: 6+ months

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture and services, including Cortex Analyst, Cortex AI, Semantic Views, Streamlit in Snowflake, Snowpark ML, and Model Registry.
• Ability to design semantic and business-friendly data layers that translate complex data structures into governed entities, relationships, metrics, definitions, and reusable data products.
• Experience defining architecture for advanced analytics, machine learning, forecasting, and AI-enabled applications within the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of data security and governance, including RBAC, row-level access, masking, sensitive-data controls, logging, lineage, and auditability.
• Ability to design solutions that meet performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Experience developing target-state architectures and technical design artifacts, including platform, integration, security, access-control, and deployment designs.
• Ability to collaborate with other technical SMEs to establish architectural standards and patterns, and ensure implementation remains aligned to the overall solution architecture
