Job Description

We're supporting a Specialty Insurance organisation and are looking for a hands-on Alteryx specialist to help remove a key delivery bottleneck around underwriting and capacity models.

Details:

  • Rate: Competitive - Outside IR35
  • Location: London - Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week
  • Duration: 6 months initially
  • Start: ASAP

Required experience:

  • Deep, hands-on Alteryx experience - Alteryx must be your core strength, not an occasional tool
  • Experience maintaining existing Alteryx models and building new models from business requirements
  • Ability to independently translate business requirements into scalable data workflows and models
  • Experience with underwriting, insurance, capacity management or appetite-matching models highly beneficial
  • Strong background in data transformation, workflow automation, automated MI/reporting or BI automation
  • Experience replacing manual Excel-based processes with automated, scalable workflow solutions
  • Comfortable working within an established SDLC, with business stakeholders providing requirements and separate testers validating outputs
  • Experience working in a hands-on delivery environment where you can take ownership of building and maintaining solutions
  • Broader data engineering, BI or analytics experience is beneficial, but this is not necessarily a pure Data Engineering role

This is an urgent requirement, with a significant amount of work already identified across the initial six-month period. The successful contractor will play a key role in developing and maintaining models that support corporate capacity management and determine what is within or outside underwriting scope.
