Consultant Physician (Gastroenterology) | Tarp, Germany | On-site

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physician to join a leading medical facility specializing in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Pain Medicine, Diabetology, and Gastroenterology. This institution is renowned for its comprehensive patient care, blending inpatient, day clinic, and outpatient services within a supportive and innovative environment.

The Role

• Ensure high-quality gastroenterological care for patients.
• Perform advanced endoscopic diagnostics including gastroscopy (PEG insertion), colonoscopy (polypectomy), and endosonography.
• Conduct comprehensive sonographic imaging, including bowel sonography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
• Contribute to the strategic expansion of outpatient services in the region.
• Provide dedicated mentorship and training for physicians in further education.
• Participate in the internal medicine on-call duty roster.

What You'll Need

• Board certification in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Gastroenterology, or as a Gastroenterologist.
• Ideally, possess additional qualifications in Diabetology.
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound for staging and FNA).
• Demonstrated strong personal commitment, empathy, and teamwork skills.
• Experience and willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and process improvement.
