Job description

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12 to 15+ years in data engineering and architecture, with 5+ years as an architect or lead role on enterprise-scale programs.
  • Proven delivery of at least two large data modernization or cloud migration programs on Azure.
  • Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse,  ADF, ADLS Gen2, and Delta Lake.
  • Strong grasp of data governance frameworks, Microsoft Purview, data quality, and metadata management.
  • Experience building Customer 360 or MDM solutions (for example Profisee, Informatica MDM, or Reltio).
  • Proficiency in SQL, PySpark/Python, dimensional and Data Vault modeling, and semantic models in Power BI.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred

  • Microsoft certifications: Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP-600), Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
  • Exposure to Data Mesh, AI/ML readiness, Copilot in Fabric, and GenAI use cases on enterprise data.
  • Domain experience Public Sector / Government domain, specifically Parks, Recreation & Conservation
