The Role:
- Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with a love of science and equipping them with the skills to understand and explore the natural world.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching Science curriculum that fosters scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Play an active role in the school's extracurricular programme, leading science clubs, organizing experiments and demonstrations, and supporting students in their academic pursuits.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Science education.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of scientific concepts and principles across the secondary curriculum.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's ethos and values.
