Required Skills & Experience
- Professional Background: Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of practical experience as a dedicated SQL Server DBA.
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), T-SQL, and SQL Profiler.
- Infrastructure Familiarity: Strong grasp of Windows Server operating systems, networking, and storage layouts.
- Cloud Integration: Basic experience managing Azure SQL Databases or migrating on-premise servers to cloud infrastructure.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure and rigid adherence to change management controls
Education Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology / Masters in Computer Application
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft credentials, such as the Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or legacy MCSE/MCSA certificates.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for incident and problem management.
