Job Title: IBM Workload Automation (IWA) / IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) Administrator

Location: Remote


Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced IBM Workload Automation (IWA) / IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) Administrator to design, implement, and maintain enterprise batch scheduling and workload management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for defining job streams, troubleshooting workflow failures, performing system upgrades, and optimizing automation for complex distributed and main-frame environments.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Management: Design, create, test, and maintain IWA/IWS job definitions, calendars, resources, and dependencies.

System Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and patch IWA/IWS master domain managers, dynamic agents, and fault-tolerant agents.

Monitoring & Incident Management: Perform 24/7 monitoring of batch environments, quickly resolving job failures, performance bottlenecks, and agent communication issues.

Integration & Automation: Integrate IWA/IWS with cloud environments, databases, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and enterprise ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

Optimization & Security: Enforce security policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and optimize job scheduling to meet strict business SLAs.

Documentation & Support: Maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and disaster recovery (DR) plans.
