Core Role

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through the admissions journey across Bower's programs. The role involves managing leads, conducting counselling sessions, converting enquiries into admissions, and delivering an excellent experience that reflects Bower's values. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a consultative approach, target orientation, and genuine belief in entrepreneurship education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to admission enquiries received through calls, emails, walk-ins, events, digital campaigns, and referrals in a timely and professional manner.

• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents to understand their aspirations and recommend the most suitable Bower program (UG, BBA-GITAM track, Bower X, Atlas, or SEED).

• Clearly explain program structure, curriculum, fee structure, scholarships, admission process, and career outcomes.

• Manage the complete admissions funnel - from lead generation and follow-ups to application, document collection, and enrolment closure.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and interactions in the CRM / admissions tracker.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets and contribute to the overall enrolment pipeline.

• Coordinate with the marketing and performance teams to share feedback on lead quality and improve targeting.

• Represent Bower at admission events, school outreach programs, counsellor meets, summits, open houses, and career fairs.

• Guide admitted students through the onboarding and fee-payment process, ensuring a smooth transition.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, counsellors, parents, and channel partners.

• Follow up consistently on pending applications, payment timelines, and prospective conversions.

• Provide regular reports and updates on admission status, conversions, and pipeline health to the reporting manager.


What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; regional languages (Telugu / Hindi) are an added advantage.

• Strong consultative selling and persuasion skills with a customer-first approach.

• Ability to connect with students and parents and build trust quickly.

• Target-driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good organizational skills and proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and Google Workspace.

• Professional, presentable, and confident in one-on-one and group interactions.

• Genuine interest in education, entrepreneurship, and student success.


Candidate Profile:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or Education preferred).

• 2-5 years of experience in admissions counselling, education sales, or business development (freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered).

Prior experience in the education / EdTech / K-12 / higher education sector is an advantage.
