About the Role

Block LLP is looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment someone connects with our firm. You will manage the front desk, answer and route incoming calls, greet visitors, assist with administrative tasks, and help keep day-to-day office operations running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who is personable, dependable, organized, and comfortable communicating with people from all backgrounds. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, can confidently manage a busy front desk, and brings a positive and professional attitude to the workplace.

What You’ll Do

Front Desk & Client Service

  • Greet clients, visitors, candidates, vendors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate team members
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure every caller and visitor feels welcomed
  • Assist Spanish-speaking clients and callers as needed
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely communication with the appropriate team member
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Coordinate visitor arrivals and notify team members of scheduled appointments

Administrative Support

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Assist with scanning, copying, filing, and organizing documents
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry as needed
  • Help schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms
  • Assist with outgoing mail, packages, and document preparation
  • Support attorneys, case managers, and administrative staff with general office tasks
  • Assist with additional administrative projects as needed

Office Support

  • Help maintain common areas and ensure the office remains organized and presentable
  • Monitor office supplies and communicate restocking needs
  • Assist with coordinating meetings, team events, and other office activities
  • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and firm information
  • Help support a positive, collaborative, and professional office environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and confident phone presence
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and interruptions throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience
  • Experience working in a law firm or professional office environment
  • Experience handling a multi-line phone system
  • Familiarity with legal or case management software is a plus
