This is a 6-month contract which allows for remote work. The office is close to the CBD and has a 2-3-day office/home split.

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - 6 Month Contract
We're looking for a hands on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to backfill someone who's seconded to a project, and you will be assisting on the ongoing operations and maintenanceof our client's enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
The role:

• Administer and continuously improve cloud/hybrid infrastructure platforms, ensuring availability, performance and security
• Act asescalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud issues - investigation, resolution and root cause analysis
• Drive automation and standardisation through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Maintain technical documentation - solution designs, runbooks, standards and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with vendors, MSPs and internal stakeholders on operational and project outcomes

Youll need:

• Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, backup, DR, hybrid connectivity) and Microsoft 365
• Advanced Windows Server and Linux administration in enterprise environments
• Hands on Hyper V virtualisation experience (provisioning, clustering, networking, performance)
• Experience with enterprise storage/backup (e.g. Commvault, SAN) and DR/business continuity
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory & Group Policy
• Intermediate+ PowerShell/scripting and automation skills
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles (vulnerability management, Zero Trust, Microsoft Defender) and ITIL service management
