Managing Director, Fund Finance

A rapidly growing, highly respected financial advisory and capital solutions platform is seeking a Head of Fund Finance to lead and expand its fund finance business in New York.

This is a unique opportunity to join a firm with an established presence across debt advisory, capital raising, and investment banking, while taking ownership of a strategic growth initiative with significant senior-level support. The successful candidate will play a key role in building client relationships, originating transactions, and shaping the long-term direction of the platform's fund finance offering.

The broader leadership team includes senior professionals with experience from leading global investment banks and premier financial institutions, providing a strong foundation, extensive market connectivity, and a collaborative environment for growth. The role offers substantial visibility across the organization and the opportunity to work with some of the most sophisticated private capital managers, sponsors, and institutional investors in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead origination and execution of fund finance mandates across subscription facilities, NAV lending, hybrid facilities, and related financing solutions.
• Develop and deepen relationships with private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and other alternative asset managers.
• Partner with investment banking and capital solutions professionals to identify opportunities and expand client coverage.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team while driving strategic growth initiatives.
• Serve as a senior ambassador for the firm within the fund finance ecosystem.

Ideal Background

• Significant experience within fund finance, structured finance, private capital advisory, or a related coverage/product group.
• Demonstrated track record of originating and executing complex financing transactions.
• Strong network across sponsors, asset managers, lenders, and institutional investors.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build and scale a growing platform.
• Leadership experience and the ability to influence at the executive level.
