Job Title: Solutions Architect(Data Intelligence Platform)

Location: Sydney CBD, hybrid working arrangements, 3 days per week in the office

Employment Type: Permanent full time

Our client is a global technology company that develops advanced software solutions to help organisations uncover insights from large volumes of complex data. Their innovative platform supports digital investigations, eDiscovery, data privacy, compliance, and risk management. With a strong focus on innovation and problem-solving, they empower customers to make informed decisions through powerful data intelligence and analytics. The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and delivering customer-facing solutions. This role focuses on understanding customer requirements, shaping technical solutions for complex use cases, and supporting the sales cycle through POCs, tenders, and Statements of Work (SOWs). The Solutions Architect acts as the technical bridge between customer needs and their platform capabilities, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose across diverse deployment environments.

Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Customer Engagement
  • Design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions across eDiscovery, investigations, digital forensics, and data intelligence environments.
  • Translate customer business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architectures.
  • Develop solution designs, technical documentation, deployment models, and best-practice recommendations.
  • Advise customers on infrastructure, integrations, performance optimisation, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a trusted technical adviser throughout the customer lifecycle, from discovery and evaluation through to implementation.
Proof of Concept and Pre-Sales Support
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Consulting teams to support tenders, RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops to understand customer challenges, data environments, and business objectives.
  • Scope solution requirements, including infrastructure, data volumes, deployment models, and integration needs.
  • Design and support Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, defining success criteria and demonstrating business value.
  • Present solution architectures and technical concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to solution standards, deployment best practices, and reference architectures.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape future product development.
  • Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement across the broader organisation.
Key requirements Technical Expertise
  • 10+ years of solutions architecture experience in enterprise software
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, data processing, and search technologies
  • Experience designing solutions for eDiscovery, forensics, legal technology, or data analytics domains
  • Knowledge of deployment architectures (air-gapped, data centre, cloud, hybrid)
  • Familiarity with containerisation, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and data pipelines
Solution Design & Delivery
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex customer solutions
  • Experience with POC planning, execution, and evaluation
  • Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical architectures
  • Experience sizing and scoping large-scale data processing environments
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimisation techniques
Customer-Facing Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience supporting sales cycles, tenders, and RFP responses
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with customer stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills under tight timelines
  • Comfortable working in pre-sales and post-sales contexts
  • Experience managing customer expectations and delivering difficult messages
Domain Knowledge
  • Understanding of eDiscovery workflows (collection, processing, review, production)
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements (data privacy, chain of custody, audit trails)
  • Familiarity with forensic investigation methodologies (preferred)
  • Experience with legal technology platforms (Relativity, review tools ect.)
  • Understanding of compliance and security requirements in regulated industries
