A global technology consultancy is seeking an experienced DV Cleared Squad Lead/Associate Project Manager to join a high-profile programme supporting the UK Defence sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex IT capabilities within a secure Agile environment, working closely with programme leadership, technical teams and customer stakeholders.
The Role
You will lead an Agile delivery squad, taking ownership of sprint delivery and coordinating activities across design, build, testing and deployment. Acting as the primary interface between the delivery team, programme management and customer stakeholders, you will ensure successful delivery while managing dependencies, risks and blockers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an Agile delivery squad, ensuring successful sprint delivery.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups and coordinate delivery activities.
- Work closely with Programme Managers, Technical Leads and customer stakeholders.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and delivery blockers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
- Support the design, build, stabilisation and deployment of secure IT platform environments.
- Ensure Agile delivery artefacts and governance are maintained throughout the project life cycle.
- Drive collaboration across multiple technical teams to achieve programme objectives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Active DV Clearance (essential) prior to a start.
- Proven experience leading Agile delivery teams, squads or technical workstreams.
- Strong Project Management and delivery coordination experience.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, risks, issues and inter-team dependencies.
- Experience delivering complex IT infrastructure, digital transformation or enterprise technology programmes.
