Job Description

Quality Engineers/Auditors

Introduction: As a Quality Engineer/Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products in highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environments. You will conduct audits, inspections, and manage quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product, process, and quality system audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Inspect aerospace metals and components for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Manage configuration management processes to track changes and updates
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Generate reports on quality metrics, findings from audits, and recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct technical writing for documentation of processes, procedures, and audit reports

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing
  • Previous auditing experience (product, process, and/or quality system audits)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective technical writing and reporting skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in aerospace forgings, metals, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • AS9100 experience
  • Product audit and configuration management experience
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) and traceability experience
