Quick Overview
Job Description
We're working with an established Australian technology services business looking to hire a senior Growth Lead to build out their presence in Victoria.
This is a proper solution sales role. They're not looking for someone who turns up with a product and tries to find somewhere to sell it. They want someone who can understand what's happening within a customer, uncover the problem, bring the right people into the conversation and manage the opportunity all the way through to close.
There's a good mix of account growth and new business. You'll take ownership of a major existing enterprise customer where there's significant opportunity to expand into other areas, while also developing new customers across Victoria. There's already a flow of qualified leads coming through the business and its partners, so this isn't about sitting there making cold calls all day.
Ideally, you'll have 10+ years in technology sales and come from an MSP, integrator or technology services environment. You'll have sold managed services before and understand what it takes to put together larger, more complex deals. Experience across networking, cyber or cloud would be ideal, but you don't need to be the technical expert - there are plenty of specialists around you for that.
They're particularly interested in people who have sold meaningful recurring managed services deals - think a minimum of $50k+ MRR - and who are comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders across a customer rather than relying on one senior relationship.
The business itself has plenty of technical depth but still operates as a challenger in the market. It's a relatively flat structure; senior leadership gets involved in deals, and good salespeople are given the autonomy to get on with it.
If you've got a strong managed services background and like the idea of building something in Victoria rather than inheriting a narrow patch, get in touch.
