Key Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calling on and developing high-potential accounts across a designated geographic zone. This role is crucial in driving the company's growth by focusing on strategic account management and program/product development. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
Develop Regional High Potential Account List
Cultivate and develop high-potential accounts across a geographic zone.
Manage a focused list of 40 high-potential accounts segmented into three categories: Key Account Management:
~Align accounts with geographic and regional zones, ensuring a comprehensive national scope.
~ Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize account growth and profitability.
~ Regularly review and adjust account strategies to meet dynamic market demands
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance programs and products tailored to the needs of key accounts.
Relationship Building
~ Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within accounts.
~Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
~Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to account development and revenue growth.
~Utilize CRM tools and other resources to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
~Bachelor’s degree and & 7+ years outside product related B2B sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales Acumen
Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Knowledge of industrial products and their applications.
Project Management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy development.
Customer-Centric Mindset
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.
Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions.
Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for clients.
Target compensation for this exempt position (Base plus bonus/ commission) $140- $150k DOE
