here is some addl information:

This is enterprise app development, looking for full-stack engineer with experience in Java, rest APIs, some cloud native architecture, CI/CD, and preferably having some AWS or concept knowledge. As far as what the engineer is doing and how the role will work: building platforms – enterprise level – used across multiple teams. How to create a platform, having strong java and REST API knowledge is useful. Mostly a data specific platform, cloud native architecture, how cloud technology connects to the platform and how data can be loaded and returned from there. Using APIs and cloud technology will be useful.

This is a fairly new team, and they do have data engineers. Looking for more of a true software engineer, looking for REST API, java, and springboot knowledge as well as building applications and software engineering development. If they have data engineering principles or cloud fundamentals, it’s nice but not required, looking for a true software engineer

Looking for full stack engineer with data platform experience. The platform experience is not mandatory but nice to have. Someone with good backend or fullstack will be good.

Mostly going to be really strong java and rest API backgrounds, really strong CI/CD background, some system design, and front-end they don’t have a super need for, but if they have the knowledge it’s helpful.

Probably working with AWS and Databricks, so some understanding of that, along with Azure, would be good. Any cloud fundamentals are useful.
