Java Developer with Capital Market

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications and services
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams
• Develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
• Support production releases and deployments
• Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Work on systems requiring high reliability, concurrency, and performance

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of professional Java development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
• Strong experience developing multithreaded and concurrent applications
• Solid understanding of Java concurrency concepts, including thread safety, synchronization, concurrent collections, executors, and performance considerations
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Experience with Git or equivalent source control systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Electronic Trading environments
• Knowledge of Market Data systems, market structure, and exchange connectivity
• Experience with FIX Protocol and trading connectivity
• Experience with messaging technologies and distributed systems
• Experience supporting production applications
• Experience developing high-performance or low-latency applications
• Experience working with real-time systems
